London adventures pt IV: Museums

I went to the tate modern and came across Guerilla Girls’s work. I had no idea what this collective was about but really enjoyed their pieces.

Love the typography work and layout. Graphic design is very hard so I admire such clean uses of type and space. Amazing.

This piece is called Selected Wall Collages by Mary Beth Edison. I thought the character design in them was mindballing, creepy and very cool. That looks like a very cool technique to tryout when character creating. Cool stuff!

Jokes aside, I am fascinated by the light and sparkles in these exquisite creations. I loved how the sparkles translated into the camera just like my eye saw them (didn’t think that would happen) and how they sparkled in different colors like a rainbow. Very delightful images. I then walked to the pret and got a free hot chocolate. Luxurious.

I’d really like to integrate sparkles in my animations, these particles that remind me of anime girly scenes
